Since we were in Utah for Zach's birthday, we celebrated his birthday here tonight (Wednesday). It was fun to get together for this special occasion. Mal was stressed out after taking her first AP test today and studying non-stop for two more next week. Beau was feeling really sore from going through day-surgery today to have his "port" implanted for chemotherapy to be administered. We still managed to have a great time together.
We had a great "That Thing You Do Moment" when Greg called Zach and told him to turn on the radio because 94.7 was playing one of Lindsey Pool's songs. Zach and Ksenia were jumping up and down and hugging each other (just like on the movie). It was a touching moment :)! Their long-anticipated CD Release Party and concert is this Saturday.
Zach is proud of himself for missing the "blowing out the candles" picture I usually capture. He tricked me and blew out the candles with his nose! Happy 26th Birthday, Zach!! We love you!

Happy B-day Bru-ha-ha. And congrats on the air time-- wish I could be there this weekend. Hope all goes well.
Zach is such a goof :) .
I'm glad that Zach got to blow out candles that depicted his actual age. At my parents' house, if you believed the candle, he was turning five. Forever young...
Sorry I am commenting on all these blogs way after the fact, but I am without a computer right now and feel totally cut off from the outside world. My comment on this blog is two fold. First of all, congrats on the B-day and the big 2-6. And secondly, "Sick! Did people actually eat that cake after you farmer blowed on it?" Love ya, Bro!
There was little to no snottage involved in the blowing out of the candles. Snot is definitely no laughing matter. As Brother Blaisdell always used to say...
"You can kiss your honey when you're nose is runny, you may think it's funny but it's snot."
